Hi!
Two negatives make a positive, so this can be rewritten as
-7+2.5
The answer is D. -7+2.5

Hiya!
When there are 2 negatives together, the (-) sign changes into a (+) sign.
-7 - (-2.5) ⇒
-7 + 2.5
Your answer is D. -7 + 2.5
(-7 + 2.5 = -5.5)
