She uses metaphor when she said "This yellow pair". She uses Alliteration when she said: "Twinklings and Twinges". She uses Hyperbole when she said: "As they lean over the beans in their rented back room that they is full of beads and receipts and dolls and cloths."

A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally abblicable
Example: She’s drowning in a sea of grief. (Metaphor)
A simile is a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind. Example:She happy as a clam. Personification it gives human characteristics to inanimate objects,animals, or ideas. Example The sun greeted me this morning. So I hope that help.
