Hello!

Since this shape is a square all of the side lengths are going to be the same. We will find the side length of one side. To do so we will find the square root (as each side is the same and multiplied by itself to find area.

√64=8

Each side length is 8, and now we multiply by four to find the length of all the sides for the perimeter.

8(4)=32

Our perimeter is 32 cm.

I hope this helps!

To find area of a square, multiply length x height. Note however, that a square's side's measurements are the same.

Square root 64

√64 = 8

Each side length is 8

A square has 4 sides. Multiply 8 with 4

8 x 4 = 32

You're perimeter is 32 centimeters.

hope this helps
