This program was implemented through the enactment of the Civilian Conservation Corps Act. It was a relief program directed at unemployed and unmarried young men, between the ages of 18 to 25. They were employed in road building, controlling flooding and in forest conservation

civilian conservation corps
Established in 1933, it was one of the most effective of FDR welfare program. it employed youths between the age of 17 to 45 years. before it was disbanded by congress in 1942,it is estimated it had employed over 3 million people.
