∠JKR and ∠LMT are both in the same place against the transversal. They are corresponding. The postulate regarding corresponding angles says that if a transversal cuts parallel lines, then corresponding angles are congruent. Here, we have to take that backwards, if you will. The angles are marked congruent and they are corresponding, so it's the converse of the original postulate. C is what you want.
