The blizzard occurs everyday somewhere in the great plains.WHY? all originates in high altitudes of 12000,where snow forms and start falling. as this snow reaches lower, warmer and windy sections of the atmosphere,it turns and fall as stormy snow, rainy droplets. It also decreases visibility.

This is a phenomenon in the Great Plains that can be explained by looking at the geographical conditions of this area. First of all, we have to consider that after a certain altitude (12,000 ft), precipitation starts as snow. However, as that snow falls and gets closer to the ground, it melts. This means that it becomes rain when it enters a warm, dry section of air, giving rise to these blizzards.
