How are members of juries chosen for criminal trials?

A jury selection is actually done at random. It is a complied list that is within the courthouse. When you are registered to vote or even renew your driver license/ID. The person is summoned again at random.

Now keep in in mind, because a person is summoned, there is stuff that can stop you from being on that panel and replaced. For instance if you the parties within the case you will not be able to be on that panel of jurors and have to be replaced.
