the slope of the line is -
(9)/(7)

I used the equation
( y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_2-x_1)

so for this problem, the equation would be
(-3-6)/(5+2) = -(9)/(7)

The slope would be -9/7. Simply do rise over run and since the rise is -9 (one y point to the other) and the run is 7 (one x point to the other)
