The answer is 5 because you have to find the change in y over the change in x.

The slope of a function is the change in y divided by the change in x.

14 - 4 = 10. The change in y is 10.
2 - 0 = 2. The change in x is 2.

10 divided by 2 is 5. The slope is 5.
