The School of Athens comprised of the greatest mathematicians, philosophers, and scientist mingling together and sharing their ideas and learning from each other. The two key thinkers(also located in the center) in this painting are Aristotle and Plato since they were both important to Western thinking and both of their philosophies were incorporated into Christianity.
