The correct answer is - Japan and the United States will be allies.

Japan and United States have a special relation after the WWII. Unlike the European countries that were on the Nazi side, Japan evaded most of the sanctions because of some deals with the United States, and instead of being enemies, they actually became great allies, and managed to compliment each other's economies and safety from that period on, which actually made them very close and countries that developed great friendship, for mutual interest and benefit.
