Galileo arguments that earth was round and rotated around the sun, and not vice versa went against biblical teachings recorded in the books of Joshua, of when the prophet of Yahweh and leader of Israelite after Moses, named Joshua, prayed to God to stop the sun.
Galileo implications was that the bible was wrong because it is not the sun that stopped but it should have been the Earth. Noe-biblical scholars posits that there was no scientific point while writing the bible noting that the writers were historians, who simply made an observation. From earth point of view,it is the sun that moves and not the earth, which therefore do not wrong the biblical miracle.
