Area of a trapezoid, A = 1/2 × (a + b) h, where a = 19 cm, b = 23 cm & h = 14 cm.
By substitution, we have
A = 1/2 × (19 + 23)14
= 1/2 × 14(19 + 23)
= 1/2 × 14(42)
= 7(42)
= 294 sq. cm
