How doees the pancreas regulate blood sugar levels?

The pancreas regulates blood sugar by the release of either glycogen or insulin. When blood sugar is low, the pancreas releases glycogen to raise blood levels. When blood sugar is too high, the pancreas will release insulin to lower blood levels.
