Hey there!

5 + 2(3x - 4) - x

= 5 + 2(3x) + 2(-4) - x

= 5 + 6x - 8 - 1x

= -3 + 5x

= 5x - 3

Therefore, your answer is: 5x - 3

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
