4 x 4= 16, 16 x 4= 64, repeat the same process for the other then minus the two, hope this helps

The answer is -17
. To solve it without a calculator, just do 4x4x4, which equals 64. Then do 3x3x3x3 which equals 81. Subtract those two. 64-81 is -17. Hope this helps!
