n/5=18/30 This is the same as:
6n/30=18/30
eliminate 30 from both sides
6n=18
n=3

We can cross-multiply to find n.
5(18) = 30n
90 = 30n
Divide both sides by 30 to find n.
90/30 = 30n/30
3 = n
