the temperature affects the plants in many ways like some plants only grow in hot places and others in the cold... like the cactus survives in the hot but the eddlvise does not.
and to the animals, some hibernate in the winter and others go out only in the summer... if the temperature is always hot or always cold, some animals will go instinct and others won't find their pray and then die... Which then will affect in the human race because if all animal go instinct, people will not find the proteins they need and they will end too.
