Should the media give the public everything they want? What do you think of TV shows or the private lives of celebrities?

From personal experiences... The media shouldn't give the public community what they want because, the public will start taking advantage of the media. For example, if I keep asking for something and that person gives it to me I might as well keep asking for stuff because I know they will give me it. Therefore the Media shouldn't give the public what they want.
