What was a result of Mao's Great Cultural Revolution? An entire generation of youth went without an education. The Chinese people were finally unified under one leader. Rail systems became thoroughly modernized across China. More people saw that Mao's methods were best for China.

The entire generation of Red guards went without education. They became known as The Lost Generation. All the schools and universities were shut down. Libraries, churches, temples, stores and even private homes were ransacked in an attempt to destroy feudal traditions.
