the unit rate between 125 and 25 is 5 miles per hour
This is a fraction equal to
125 miles ÷ 25 hours
We want a unit rate where
1 is in the denominator,
so we divide top and bottom by 25
125 miles÷ 2525 hours÷ 25=5 miles1 hour=5 mileshour
