the father is 30 years older than his son.after 10 years from now ,the sum of their ages is 64.what are their ages right now

If sons age is x years then fathers = x + 30

after 10 years , we have the equation

x + 10 + x + 30 + 10 = 64
2x = 64 - 50 = 14
x = 7

So right now the son is 7 years old and the father is 37.
