What results would you expect if you tested ribose, a monosaccharide, with benedict's solution?

Benedict’s tests is used to test for reducing sugars. Examples of these reducing sugars are sucrose, glucose and fructose. In the presence of these, the Benedict’s solution when heated together, will turn from blue to orange red or brick red depending on the amount of reducing sugars in the solution.
