The Pythagorean theorem tells you the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the sides.
BC² = AB² + AC²
BC² = 4² +4² = 32
BC = √32 = 4√2
BC = 4*1.41 = 5.64

The length of segment BC is 5.64 m.
