The answer is anaerobic respiration. Also called fermentation helps produce beer and wine and that happens without the presence of oxygen. Cellular respiration is the process cells use to make energy. Two distinct respiration processes, anaerobic and aerobic occur in the absence and presence of oxygen respectively.
