Do you think hong kong will keep its freedoms under chinese rule

No. It is because Hong Kong will change to become a different kind of city because Hong Kong is under a new rule, and therefore China may want to change it, for better or worse. It is the only city where people protest against the Chinese government because after Hong Kong was given back to China, the agreement said it would retain most freedoms it had under British rule which China is undermining. I believe China will never allow Hong Kong to be independent. Most Mass acts of civil disobedience have been met with unexpected and swift police responses, leading to clashes and popular outrages to keep their democratic rights.
