An aggregate is formed because of deposition of particles like soil, silt, rocks, stones and pebbles. These are deposited due to natural processes like withering and erosion. Floodplains will aggregate sediments over the flood prone region. In alluvial fans aggregates of soil, silt and gravel is deposited when water flows through a mountain valley. In mining process the aggregate of soil, rocks and other material is taken out in order to obtain minerals.
