The industrialization influenced heavily the landscape of the Earth, as well as it's usage. The industry required space for buildings and production, which made big changes in the physical features on lots of places. Also the industry required enormous amounts of resources/materials for the production, so lots of places became mines, forest were cut, rivers polluted, ecosystems destroyed, etc. This made the Earth's landscape change in big portion in the last few hundred years and become unrecognizable in lots of parts.
