I believe this is a Negative association.
Children can form a positive or negative food association depending on the experience they a have with the food. As they interact with foods, they begin to form a lifelong food associations that will affect their eating habits later in life. For example if a child gets in trouble for not eating a particular food; for example vegetables or for not drinking water, they will associate the food with getting in trouble. Consequently later on, subconsciously, they may shy away from these particular foods simply because they give them unhappy memories.
