One of the Victories happened in the Battle at Marathon where the Greeks beat the Persian army. Another Victory at the Battle at Salamis. Another one was the Battle at Plataea.

The Battles of Plataea and Marathon were largely won by the Greek Hoplites and Phalanx warriors and tactics as they faced a larger force of warriors from Persia.

The Battle at Salamis was different as it was a sea battle where the Greek Triremes and a brilliant plan won the battle largely destroying the Persian fleet.
