Why do you think it is inappropriate to list family members as references on a resume?

Its because they will automatically give you a good feedback even if you dont do a good job because they are family. So the people you give your resume to dosnt really know how other people who dont have any connection with you will respond because family members always tend to give very high ratings toward other people who are in their family.

Yes, family members will never not give a recommendation. It’s like going to the gym and going to the treadmill (it’s a gym, of course it’ll have it)
