A chapter overview is a section, usually from a textbook, that gives the reader a preview and review of the chapter or unit, in a simple and superficial way. If the reader wants to have an idea of the content in the chapter, how some subjects relate to each other and focus more in specific detail, reading a chapter overview can be very helpful.
