Humanism was the act examining the human body, and exploring its flaws/perfections etc. Secularism on the other hand was a way of thinking that was more worldly. Before the renaissance, most people only thought and acted religiously, and during the Renaissance people began to explore more secular world views. Humanism developed from secularism during the Renaissance, and mainly focused on the human body. Secularism developed during the Renaissance, and focused on straying away from religion and towards science/education.
