Jem states that there are four kinds of people in Maycomb County: "There's the ordinary kind like us and the neighbours, there's the kind like the Cunningham’s out in the woods, the kind like the Ewell’s down at the dump, and the Negroes.

The book “To Kill a Mockingbird“mainly deals with emotion of human beings. The story revolves around the four kinds of people and the author has done journeying of the nature of people living in that county.

The author narrates the events faced the two characters and how they got influenced by the behaviour of the people around them. Initially in their childhood; characters of the view that people are good and during their adulthood the same character had different perceptive and they encountered evil, prejudice and hatred .
