Watch some animations/short films or look at other people's works on wattpad if you want ideas. I draw and animate and I look at other people's works and it helps a lot because i'm like "Oh wow! I should try that". I'm not saying copy or plagiarize anyone elses pieces but sometimes going out and just experiencing life helps. Read poems and books. If you are a poet, read William Shakespeare, Walt Whitman, Edgar Allan Poe, or other poet's works for ideas.

Also as an artist I love going to malls and looking at all the art and cool and weird clothes gives me ideas.
