One shoe has a pointed heel that has a small cross sectional area, and another shoe has a broad heel with a large cross sectional area. Both shoes have the same mass and are made of the same material. Which shoe can cause more pain if the same person wearing it accidently uses their heel to step on another person's foot? And why?
