The Jewish were portrayed as money pinching goblins, who spared no mercy. They often had extremely disproportionate bodies, like large noses, a sour mouth, and long fingers. To the public, they were know as being a far inferior race, and children often feared their monstrous disfigurement. Due to this, most germans did not mind to point out a jewish person, as being caught, or even suspected to help them had a far scarier punishment.
