= a³ +7a² - 4a - 2a² - 14a +8

= a³ + 5a² - 4a - 14a +8

= a³ + 5a² - 18a +8

+ 5a² - 18a +8 - (a³+4a²–29a+11) =a³ + 5a² - 18a +8 -a³- 4a²+29a - 11

= a² + 11a - 3
