Here, the base of the right triangle = 56

The perpendicular = 33

The hypotenuse of the triangle = x

Now, by PYTHAGORAS THEOREM: In a right angled triangle


(Base)^(2)    + (Perpendicular)^(2)   = (Hypotenuse)^(2)

or, here


(56)^(2)    + (33)^(2)   = (x)^(2)

or,
x^(2)  = 3136 + 1089 \implies x = √(4225) \\x = 65

Hence, the length of he hypotenuse of the triangle is 65.
