Answer: 5/8
Step-by-step explanation: there are two way to do it
3/8 + ( 4x2=8, 1x2=2) 2/8 = 3+2=5 which is 5/8
16= (8x2=16,3x2=6) 16=( 4x4=16, 1x4=4) 6/16 + 4/16= 10/16, (10÷2=5 16÷2=8) = 5/8
then reduce to lowest
8 is the LCD of the sum 3/8+1/4
