When it was 70 degrees outside, 50 members showed up at the beach club. for each degree temperature rose, another 10 members came to the Beach club. Write the function, f(t), that represents the number of members at the beach club as a function of the temperature.

So, when
t=70 degree, number of members,
f(t)=50

Now, for every degree rise in temperature, 10 members gets added.

So, when the temperature is
t degrees, rise in temperature is

(t-70) degrees rise
, number of members added =
10(t-70)

Hence, total number of members added as a function of temperature is given as the sum of members at
t= 70 degrees and for
(t-70) degrees rise.
