Answer:he needs 1 7/8 gallons of milk to make 30 milkshakes and this is a proportional relationship

Step-by-step explanation:3/4 divided by 12 =1/16 so it takes 1/16 gallon to make 1 milkshake and 1/16x30= 1 7/8 gallons to make 30 milkshakes it’s proportional because 3:4 >15:8

Answer: 1.875 gallons

Explanation:

3/4 gallons = 12 milk shakes

x = 30 milkshakes

cross multiply

12x = 30 × 3/4

12x = 90/4 =22.5

12x = 22.5

Divide bothside by 12

x =22.5/12

x = 1.875 gallons

x=1.875 gallons = 1 7/8 gallons
