Read the excerpt from “One Minute Longer.” “Wolf!” repeated the Boy. “Go! Hear me? Go!” He pointed homeward. Wolf stared at him, hesitant. Again the Boy called in vehement command, “Go!” How does the Boy’s command for Wolf to go move the plot forward?

Answer:

I believe it was instinct the wolf saw his master pointing away hinting for him to go and they were clearly close he could hear how upset the boy was which made him want to stay but he also could hear the command in his voice.

it shows that an emotional moment and how close they are hope this helps!
