MLA (Modern Lenanguage Assosiation) format is normally used in literature and composition fields, liberal arts, language and other humanities subjects. It relies on in-text citations and it doesn't use endnotes or footnotes typically.

  • For full citation the citation includes the following format and information: Author's last name, First name. "Title of source". Title of container, other contributors, version, numbers, publisher, publication date, location.
  • For in-text citation, the format is: author's last name + page number without a comma and in pharentesis.
