It is false that the Fur Trade between the Europeans and Native Americans made the relationship between them considerably worse than the relationship between the Spanish and Native Americans.

The fur trade was the exchange of animals furs such as the beaver between Native American Indian tribes and European colonists. European colonists such as the Dutch or the French had good relationships with the Indians and established a proper trade relationship that benefited both sides.
