How can you use the Distributive property to solve multistep equations​

Solve by clearing the fractions in the equation first.
Multiply both sides of the equation by 4, the common denominator of the fractional coefficients. Use the distributive property to expand the expressions on both sides. Add 3x to both sides to move the variable terms to only one side.
