What traits might be passed to offspring if both parents are California quails?

Answer:

Half of the DNA of one parent and half of the DNA

from the other parent to the offspring.

Example: If one parent was 72% English quail, the offspring would only be half.

The offspring would receive half of each parents DNA, which would cause offspring to have similar traits to parents but not identical.
