A truck can be rented from Company A for $90 a day plus $0.40 per mile. Company B charges $30 a day plus $0.50 per mile to rent the same truck. Find the number of miles in a day at which the rental costs for Company A and Company B are the same.

Explanation:

Compamy A: y= .40m + 90

Company B: y=..50m+30

.40m+90=.50m+30

60=.10m

m= 600 miles for both companies to run the number of miles in a day
