70 ponts!!! Please help me with this geometry question! I don't need an exact answer, I just need to know how I would figure out what the new vertices are without looking at a graph!

Triangle ABC has vertices ABC.
The triangle is rotated 180 degrees about the origin.
What are the new coordinates of the vertices?
How could you determine the coordinates of the vertices of the image without using a graph?

Answer:

see explanation

Explanation:

Under a rotation about the origin of 180°

a point (x, y ) → (- x, - y )

For example the point (3, 2 )

(3, 2 ) → (- 3, - 2 )

The point (- 1, - 4 )

(- 1, - 4 ) → (1, 4 )
