Step-by-step explanation:
After its defeat in the World War II, Japan drafted a post-war constitution which included a number of progressive provisions which earlier were not incorporated in its constitution.
It's new constitution included universal adult franchise, bill of rights, revoked all powers of the emperor, and banned Japan from waging war against any country.
It prevented Japan from using it's army for any military occupation.
